Training and Wellness Officer – Local Company

We are seeking a dynamic Training and Wellness Officer to design and deliver employee training programs, implement wellness initiatives, and promote a safe, healthy workplace.

Duties

  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate training programs tailored to employee needs

  • Assess training requirements through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations

  • Implement wellness initiatives including health screenings, workshops, and fitness challenges

  • Collaborate with vendors and healthcare providers to enhance wellness offerings

  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee development

  • Coordinate safety programs, audits, inspections, and risk assessments

  • Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures

  • Maintain accurate records of training, wellness programs, and safety data

  • Prepare reports on program effectiveness and manage related budgets

  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support for employees

  • Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and regulatory changes

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management, Human Resources, International Relations, or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience; Master’s degree advantageous

  • At least 5 O-level passes including English and Mathematics

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning management systems

  • Self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented
