Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot tractor and generator mechanical failures, performing component repairs according to manuals, specifications and knowledge of engine performance.

• Carry out routine, preventative and planned maintenance checks with full compliance to SOPs.

• Attend to breakdowns promptly, ensuring zero re-dos and adherence to safety standards.

• Perform rebuilds and overhauls on major assemblies and accessories.

• Complete work order documentation daily and maintain housekeeping and SHE standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• Artisan DPF or Motor Mechanic (Tractor and Diesel) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on tractors including Steiger, Puma, JX75, New Holland (TS 90 and TT55) and generators (Perkins and Volvo).

• Strong ability to read and interpret user manuals, with excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

• Proficient in using EST instrumentation and strong knowledge of hydraulics in tractors.

• Team player with good communication skills.
