Technology Officer – Global Institute for Corporate Governance and Leadership (GICGL)

The Technology Officer will be responsible for the development, management, and optimization of our software, web platforms, e-learning systems, and digital marketing initiatives. This role demands a multi-skilled individual proficient in software and web development, graphic design, e-learning content creation, designing AI tools such as chabots, GPTs, and governance assessment technologies. The ideal candidate will also design and promote our Virtual Innovation Hub and digital marketing campaigns to enhance institutional visibility and engagement.

Duties
Software & Web Development

  • Develop, maintain, and improve institutional websites, portals, and internal management systems

  • Design, test, and deploy software solutions aligned with institutional needs

E-Learning & Student Support

  • Develop and manage e-learning platforms, ensuring seamless delivery of online courses and certifications

  • Implement and maintain student support systems, including chatbots, AI-driven helpdesks, and analytics tools

Graphic Design & Content Development

  • Design engaging graphics, multimedia content, and UI/UX elements for digital platforms and marketing collateral

  • Create interactive e-learning modules, videos, and instructional materials

AI & Innovation Tools

  • Integrate and customize AI tools like ChatGPT to support academic, administrative, and governance assessment functions

  • Develop governance assessment tools and dashboards for institutional and client use

Virtual Innovation Hub & Digital Marketing

  • Design, launch, and manage the Virtual Innovation Hub to foster collaboration and innovation

  • Lead digital marketing campaigns (SEO, social media, email marketing) to boost enrollment and institutional outreach

Collaboration & Training

  • Work closely with academic, administrative, and marketing teams to align technology solutions with institutional goals

  • Provide training and support to staff and students on digital tools and platforms

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Multimedia, or related field

  • Proven experience in software development (full-stack preferred), web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks)

  • Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent

  • Experience in e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Moodle, or similar LMS platforms

  • Knowledge of AI technologies, especially natural language processing tools like ChatGPT

  • Familiarity with governance assessment tools and dashboards development

  • Proficient in digital marketing strategies including SEO, Google Ads, social media management

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience working in educational or governance-focused institutions

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations

  • Ability to innovate and adapt emerging technologies
