Freda Rebecca Gold Mine

We are looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our Technical Services team. This position reports to the Senior Surveyor.

Duties

• Adheres to health, safety, environment and quality standards set
• Surveys underground and surface activities
• Produces Layouts for Mining Reconciliation
• Updates Underground Workings for Planning and Statutory Requirements
• Measures Development and stockpiles to produce month-end reports.
• Ensures accurate surface surveys and updates surface features
• Attends to Geological or Engineering Surveys as per request
• Marks and Surveys geology surface and underground diamond drill holes
• Marks and maintains beacons and claims boundaries
• Tends to dispute hearings
• Ensures all plans are updated
• Produces weekly, midmonth and month end reports
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mine Surveying or a Degree in Surveying
• Holder of a clean Class 2 or 4 Drivers Licence.
• 3 years experience
