The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) is a statutory body mandated to regulate the Zimbabwean energy market cost-effectively through incentive regulation and in a fair and transparent manner to achieve sustainable energy. ZERA seeks a highly competent and results-oriented individual to actively contribute to the execution of its mandate for the following role:

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive skills audits to identify competency gaps and training needs across the organization.

  • Lead manpower planning initiatives to align human resource capacity with future organizational requirements.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor succession planning and workforce optimization strategies.

  • Oversee and support the implementation of performance management systems.

  • Drive and support change management initiatives across departments.

  • Design and implement effective employee onboarding programs.

  • Coordinate the preparation and management of training and development budgets.

  • Identify and recommend learning and development programs to improve organizational performance.

  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of skills transfer initiatives.

  • Review and analyze business processes and workflows to recommend improvements and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Social Science, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Skills Development.

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Training or Human Capital Development.

  • Advanced certificate in Excel.
