Duties

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the transport and logistics sector.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

Facilitate connections between shippers and carriers to optimize logistics solutions.

Proactively source potential customers through networking, referrals, and market research.

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities.
-
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
-
Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
-
Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for prospective clients.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular performance reports.
Qualifications

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in transport and logistics.

Strong understanding of transport brokering practices and logistics operations.

Demonstrated experience in customer sourcing within the transport and logistics sector.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with freight brokerage operations.

Knowledge of logistics software and CRM systems.

Understanding of transport regulations and compliance requirements.

Established network within the transport and logistics industry.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
