Duties & Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medicines accurately and safely
• Review prescriptions to ensure treatment compatibility and correct dosages
• Supervise the preparation of medications and maintain strict labeling standards
• Maintain registers of controlled substances in compliance with legal and inventory controls
• Liaise with doctors regarding prescriptions and patient medication plans
• Provide over-the-counter medicines and advice for minor ailments
• Educate patients on side effects and potential interactions
• Stay informed on current pharmacy practices, new drugs, and treatment protocols

Qualifications & Experience

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution recognized by ZIMCHE
• Completion of pre-registration training
• Registered with the Pharmacist Council of Zimbabwe
