Peace and Governance Graduate Intern – Local Company

We are a local NGO seeking a dedicated Peace and Governance Graduate Intern to support the implementation of peacebuilding and governance initiatives within the Nature+ Project. The intern will assist with data collection, research, analysis, and documentation related to these activities while contributing to the development of relevant policies and strategies.
Duties

Assist in organizing events, workshops, training sessions, and logistics for nature and peace governance initiatives

Draft reports, minutes, briefs, and other documents related to the project

Collaborate with stakeholders, including government officials, civil society organizations, and community leaders

Analyze data to provide insights for peace and governance initiatives

Conduct research on peace and governance issues, trends related to common pool resources, and best practices
-
Develop and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders, particularly at the ward level
-
Support administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record keeping
-
Collaborate in Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (PMEL)

Undertake any other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Degree in a relevant field such as Peace Studies, Governance, International Relations, Geography, Environmental Studies, Disaster Management, or Natural Resources Management

Strong skills in research, analysis, documentation, and report writing

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with peacebuilding, governance, natural resource management, and disaster risk reduction issues related to common pool resources
