Skip Truck Driver
Duties
Transportation & Operations:

Safely transport empty/full skip bins to designated locations

Maneuver trucks in tight spaces for loading/unloading

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance

Customer Service:

Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:

Concrete Mixer Truck Driver & Operator
Duties
Operations & Delivery:
-
Safely operate concrete mixer truck to transport ready-mix
-
Inspect vehicle pre/post-trip for roadworthiness
-
Operate mixer controls for proper loading/discharging

Ensure timely, accurate concrete deliveries
Compliance & Maintenance:

Maintain delivery logs (mileage, fuel, deliveries)

Perform basic truck cleaning/maintenance

Adhere to all traffic/site safety regulations

Report mechanical issues/delays immediately
Additional Responsibilities:

Assist at batching plant/sites when required

Qualifications

Duties
Operations Management:
Oversee daily fleet maintenance and repair operations
Develop/preventive maintenance schedules
Monitor fleet performance and identify recurring issues

Team Leadership:
Supervise mechanics and technicians
Train staff on procedures and safety protocols
Manage work schedules and assignments
Compliance & Administration:

Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
Either:
Apprenticeship in Diesel Plant Fitting + 5 years experience
OR Trade Tested Skilled Worker Class 1 + 5 years experience
National Craft Certificate in Diesel Plant Fitting
5 O-Levels (including English, Maths, Science)
Clean Class 2 or 4 driver’s license

Tipper Truck Driver
Material Transport & Handling

Transport crushed rock, sand, and gravel to specified job sites.

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections (oil, gas, water, lights, tires).

Conduct routine greasing every 5,000 miles.

Duties

Report vehicle malfunctions, safety hazards, or unusual incidents to the supervisor

Interact courteously with the public providing information about cleaning schedules and addressing concerns

Maintain accurate records of work performed including locations cleaned and issues encountered
Qualifications

Licensing: Valid Class 2 driver’s license, Retest, defensive and medical tests
Competence: 5 years and above operating a HOWO machine.
