Khayah

Khayah Cement is seeking a Kiln Production Engineer for the Pyro-Processing Department to optimise kiln operations, monitor product quality, ensure safety compliance, and mentor staff.

Duties

• Analyse raw materials and products for process optimisation

• Oversee kiln operations from limestone reclamation to clinker discharge

• Coordinate kiln light-up, heat-up, and refractory curing processes

• Monitor product quality and operational safety with laboratory and maintenance teams

• Maintain accurate process records and report abnormalities

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, SOPs, and health and safety standards

• Lead root cause analysis and document solutions for operational issues

• Train and mentor kiln burners and control room operators

• Prepare kiln production reports as required

Qualifications

• BSc. in Chemical or Process Engineering

• Minimum 5 O Levels including Mathematics and English

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in cement manufacturing

• Familiarity with international safety and environmental standards

• Strong technical and communication skills
