Logistics Officer - Rainbow Tourism Group

Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Logistics Officer for Rainbow Tourism Group. The position is based at Corporate Office in Harare.

Duties

• Logistics Coordination-Coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods between hotels, warehouse and suppliers.
• Fleet and Transport Management -Ensure compliance with transport regulations and policies.
• Inventory and Delivery Oversight-Liase with Stores/Procurement to confirm goods availability, verify quantities, quality and delivery schedules.
• Supplier and Internal Stakeholder Liason-Work closely with suppliers, hotels and internal departments to facilitate seamless logistics.
• Cost Control and Reporting -Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for saving.
• Health and Safety Compliance-Promote adherence to safety and hygiene standards in transport and handling.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• 2-3 years in a logistics or transport coordination role preferably in hospitality,FMCG  or distribution.
• Experience in computerized procurement systems, i.e., ACCPAC
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Logistics software (e.g. Fleet Management Systems)
• Route planning and scheduling experience
• Strong Coordination and communication skills
• Problem Solving and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to adapt and keep pace with changing workload demands.
