Education Specialist (Learners’ Welfare and Equity) – Unicef

Duties
-
Support the development and planning of education programmes focused on inclusivity, disability, WASH in schools, school feeding, and safeguarding.

Manage, monitor, and evaluate programme implementation to ensure delivery of results.

Provide technical and operational support to UNICEF colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong networks and partnerships with government, NGOs, and community organizations.
-
Promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and capacity building to strengthen education outcomes for children.
Qualifications

Minimum of five years of professional experience in programme planning, management, and/or education research.

Fluency in English required; knowledge of local languages is an asset.

Experience in developing countries and/or familiarity with emergency contexts desirable.
-
Relevant UN system experience considered an advantage.
-
Strong values aligned with UNICEF’s principles of care, respect, integrity, trust, accountability, and sustainability.
