The Buyer is responsible for purchasing the shop’s products from manufacturers and distributors. The Buyer will be responsible for selecting items that will increase the shop’s profits and sales.
Duties

Monitor inventory and plan accordingly.

Create and maintain relationships with suppliers.

Work with the sales and marketing team to better select products for the client base.

Monitor the company’s sales data closely and analyze the findings.

Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
Qualifications
-
Purchasing and Supply qualification (from certificate).
-
At least one year experience in the grocery and meats retail or wholesale sector.

High level of honesty and confidentiality.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and expectations with minimal supervision.
