Business Development Manager – Geo Pomona Waste Management

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll identify new business opportunities in Waste Management to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow through strategic service provision to potential and existing clients. You should possess thorough understanding of our services, intended markets, and expansion plans through close liaison with the CEO & Executive Chairman and management team.

Duties

  • Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange service meetings

  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives with the Marketing team

  • Research organizations and individuals to identify new opportunities

  • Increase value of current clients while attracting new ones

  • Develop new global markets and improve services for existing clients

  • Attend conferences, meetings and industry events to inform business strategy

  • Lead proposal writing and client communications with management feedback

  • Develop and achieve business growth goals

  • Advise CEO on business development strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance or related field

  • 7 years’ experience in similar role with proven business growth record

  • Master’s degree in related field (advantageous)

  • Ability to manage complex projects and multitask effectively

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal guidance

  • Comfortable handling uncertainty and proactive problem-solving
