Business Analyst – SMEDCO

The position exists to handle loan enquiries, process applications, and administer accounts as representatives of SMEDCO, ensuring the effective implementation of lending facilities to all stakeholders.
Duties

Produce brief analysis reports on project backgrounds for funding approval to support informed decision making

Evaluate reports to assess project viability and ensure successful implementation

Conduct credit checks on clients’ financial history

Carry out periodic visits to clients with ongoing projects to assess operations and propose solutions to challenges

Perform market analysis to identify and mitigate risks for the organization’s benefit

Produce reports for SMEs highlighting benefits derived from SMEDCO funding

Conduct financial appraisals to assess applicants for financial assistance
Qualifications

Degree in Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, or related field

At least 2 years of relevant work experience

Strong analytical skills

Familiarity with the SMEs sector or lending environment is an advantage

Clean Class 4 Driver’s License
