First Capital is seeking a Business Analyst to support and enhance banking operations by leveraging data driven insights to improve processes, products, and customer experience. The successful candidate will work with product managers, relationship managers, compliance teams, and IT to identify business needs and deliver effective solutions.

Duties

Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in corporate banking
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on business performance and client behaviors
Identify areas for improvement in business processes and workflows
Facilitate process mapping sessions and document current and new processes
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements
Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT and development teams
Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment
Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project status and changes
Ensure solutions comply with banking regulations and policies
Identify potential risks in business processes and propose mitigation strategies
Conduct market analysis to support new product and service development
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, ICT, or related field
Master’s degree or professional certification (CBAP, PMI PBA) is an added advantage
At least 3 years’ experience in a retail or corporate environment or ICT role dealing with CIB or retail processes and systems
Strong background in requirement elicitation, process mapping, and data analysis
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment
