Duties

• Fabricate, assemble, and install boilers, tanks, ducts, chutes, and other steel structures

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications

• Operate workshop tools, machinery, and welding equipment safely and efficiently

• Ensure all fabrication and installation work complies with company, industry, and safety regulations

• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other artisans to complete projects on time

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop and work environment

Qualifications

• National Certificate/Diploma in Boilermaking, Fabrication, or related trade qualification

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in boilermaking or structural steel fabrication (experience in mining/industrial sector is an added advantage)

• Strong skills in welding (MIG, TIG, ARC), cutting, grinding, and assembling steel

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Knowledge of boiler systems, pressure vessels, and workshop safety standards

• Physically fit, safety conscious, and able to work under pressure
